I’m glad the guardian mentions the Onion Festival in Roscoff (though I never go as parking is a nightmare that weekend!) but it’s great fun, as is the Artichoke Festival in neighbouring St Pol earlier in July!
Love Hepworth 💛 Have been across to Wakefield once (have a beautiful print of the gallery hanging above my fireplace) and would love to go to St Ives. Many moons ago I worked at the London College of Fashion and would see her sculpture on the John Lewis building every day.
So many excellent suggestions as always. A reminder to me to get some blood oranges to have with the chicory I got in my veg box. . I’m bookmarking Hawthorn in Kew for the future. Very happy to read good things about Eastern Europe beaches too. We are off to explore the coastline of Latvia and Liithuania in May

So interesting to hear an experience of going to one. Just booked three trips to France this year so will see what we can fit in

I know that sculpture well and her work at St Ives which is all over the town. All I need to do now is go to Wakefield

That sounds fascinating. Would love to know how sunny it is there and how warm the sea is
