My mum made the Nigel Slater bread too - she used dried figs and blueberries instead of the cherries and sultanas and said it was very difficult to get out of the tin!

Mine was fine coming out the tin, as I have a super duper gold tin from Williams Sonoma. I used dates and dried apricots and happened to have some golden sultanas too. I think I could possibly have proved mine a bit more the second time, but who knows?
