This cheered me up in the A&E waiting room yesterday! Left me starving as i hadn't eaten all day but today i've come back to comment because, a) it's a nice thing to do for something I enjoyed and b) you've once again inspired me to pick my remaining apples and make a simple tarte au pommes - thanks Kate s always xxxx
Mouth watering as always Kate, I’ll bake some Guinness Bread next week once I’m home, it’s so good with Marmalade for breakfast or Mackerel pate for lunch.
I’ve copied the Valencia article to Lottie as one of her friends is going to University there, so I think she’ll be popping over to visit every so often.
Lottie is going to have such a great time this year. I’ve got the rest of the first batch of Guinness bread sliced and in the freezer, ready to bring out. Mackerel pâté is a great idea.
Love the idea of buying Nigel Slater's new book and saving it for Advent.

Lovely to hear and honestly, I would make the apple pancakes one day as well. They are going to be a staple in our house. x
